Hi, hi, and hello friends!
The next set of masks I will be reviewing in the upcoming days are the face masks by Quick FX.
Speaking of Quick FX, they have affordable products which range from ones you can add to your skincare routine to those you can use to prep your makeup look. These products come in 10g sachet forms which are for around Php 59-99.00 and 30g tube forms for Php 129-279.00. I still love using their products on the daily, especially the No Shine Mattifier and Sunblock while I had the Pimple Eraser and Tinted Moisturizer during my early college years. They have products which give off a simple, minimalistic feel. Not so much on fancy designs, but does perform well when used. It's what made me want to keep coming back and choosing my faves from the brand when I start running low.
Around January this year, Quick FX released a line of face masks which are made in Korea (as stated on the front label), both sheet and wash-off masks. I haven't had my hands on the two wash-off masks (Black Clay Mask and Dewy+ Sleep Mask which retail for Php 99.00) yet, so I will be doing reviews on the three sheet masks they have. As mentioned, there are three variants which include the Liquid Ice Cooling Face Mask, Sculpt Tightening Face Mask, and the Dewy+ Hydrating Face Mask.
First impressions on the product include how much I love the use of pastel colors on the packaging. The presentation isn't overpowering, distracting, or intimidating to take off the shelves. Similar to how I loved other products from this brand, these masks also have a minimalist design (emphasizing the product title in all caps and including a simple description on the front side of the product), but it fits the product just right. I also like how there are mini masks on the cover with other things which relate to which variant it is. Definitely easy to understand and spot if you're on the search for these ones.
So, first sheet mask I will be reviewing is their Liquid Ice Cooling Face Mask!

Product Review:
The sheet mask material on this one is thick which I find to be good, most probably also because it's soft to the skin. Right off the bat, the peppermint scent is also strong. I tried taking a whiff as I opened the packaging, and it already gave me a sense of the cooling effect in this mask. I actually liked the peppermint in it. It was pleasing to the senses as it felt calming. You could imagine getting a massage after a hectic day with a menthol balm. 💆
For the essence consistency and amount, it was also good. Essence wasn't too runny. The mask also seemed to have a clean, no-drip feature for me when I took it out of the packaging which is always convenient when using sheet masks. There was not much excess when I tried to squeeze what's left inside the packet, but the mask was still soaked right with the essence. (I was still able to apply some on my elbows, so yay)
The adherence of this mask is also quite good as it tightens on the face. The fit is also no problem (even with the holes in eyes, nose, and mouth areas).
While having this mask on, the menthol peppermint scent really lingers on your nose (which again, I have no complains about 😍). I was even wondering at first: how "cooling" could cooling get? I guess I've tried face masks which claim to be "cooling" or "refreshing" to the face while wearing it, and maybe it's also a plus that I pop them in the fridge before use or maybe because of the sheet material, but they just had a short-time cooling effect which faded a few minutes in. That is why I didn't' get to imagine it from other reviews, saying that this mask is really "cooling to the face" which ofc made me overwhelmed with excitement. But you know what? I'm so pleased with it. Having this mask on felt like a breeze of cool, methol air just straight on your face. I was just so overwhelmed while jotting down notes for this review, not even getting to imagine that this kind of mask existed. Oh, and one more plus, this mask didn't sting or irritate my face. 👍
Nearing 15 minutes wear-time, this mask was still cooling to the face when I touched it. Just to prove how impressed I was with this, I haven't even finished wearing it, but my mind was already 85% made up and decided on how my verdict is for this one. 🙊
Okay so, I'm sure you get the gist of how I'm feeling for this Liquid Ice Cooling Face Mask. Let's skip to my thoughts after using it. There was no sticky after feeling which is always a plus. While giving a hydrated glow after, redness on my face also calmed down. The cooling sensation was definitely satisfying. TBH, I even felt like I looked like a kid that got introduced to the taste of soda. 🙊😍

Go-Buy or No-Buy?
YAY! This one is definitely a Go-Buy! It's a mask I'd definitely want to try again (especially with this summer weather? ugh yes please)! So yes, I'm a fan who's found her new fave again! Imma be singing praises for this one haha. 🙌 It didn't disappoint and was true to what it claimed on the packaging, so just imagine what it could do if this was your staple mask? It's also definitely something you should try to find out what the definition of 'cool' is in this sheet mask's dictionary. (You see how I'm using 'definitely' a lot in this, right?) I've also heard from others that this gets sold out the most, so I sure hope this gets restocked in nearby stores. If it was only even possible, I'd have this mask on for the rest of the night. 😂🙈
That was my review for the Liquid Ice Cooling Face Mask by Quick FX.
Hope you enjoyed reading it!
