Hi and hello there!
I've been having a bit of a rest week during the last few days since I've been trying to rest plus catch up with other lined up tasks. I think I'm slowly going to be back on track now (so keep staying tuned!). 😊 Anyway, after last week's review for my #MaskOfTheWeek, this week, I will be trying out another kind of sheet mask from The Solution by The Face Shop which is the Propolis Nourishing Face Mask.
In the last post, I reviewed the BHA Smoothing Face Mask from the same sheet mask line by The Face Shop. (click here to head over to my other review on this mentioned sheet mask 😊)
Since I was (*spoiler alert*) happy and pleased with the previous variant, I was already looking forward to trying this one next. Keep reading to know more details about it all went down.

Additional points from an Ingredients Analysis*:
This mask is found to be:
↪ paraben-free
↪ sulfate-free
↪ EU allergen-free
2 Wound-Healing ingredients:
↪ Sodium Hyaluronate
↪ Panthenol
1 Anti-Aging ingredient:
↪ Adenosine
However, this mask is also found to contain:
↪ Alcohol Denat (which isn't a good ingredient for those with dry and sensitive skin types and also, well, alcohol)
↪ PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil (which can possibly trigger fungal acne)
↪ Dimethicone (silicone)
This mask is good for all skin types, but just has a bit of warning flag for those with dry and sensitive skin due to the inclusion of Alcohol Denat.

Product Review:
For the first impressions, again, I love the packaging and labeling. The test tube vial x scientific concept and all. It just caught me. 😍 After spotting the BHA mask from the shelf, I knew I had to pick another variant and this was the lucky one, especially since its main star is Propolis.
Little background before we get to the sheet mask, Propolis has been one of the ingredients I've been keeping my eyes on since I've heard of it from the Youtube channel of beauty/skincare content creator and Krave Beauty's founder, Liah Yoo (huge love and heart eyes all over for this gorgeous genius 😍). She's mentioned this ingredient a couple times in a lot of her videos, but I particularly heard it first from her Fungal Acne Skincare Routine nearing the end of last year when I was looking for products to use and not to use when I suspected that I was experiencing that skin condition. It was then on the list as one of the ingredients which can help in treating fungal acne (along with BHA which is the previous sheet mask variant I tried 😉).
Now onto the mask material, it was similarly thin as the previous variant and similarly as stated in the packaging ("...light-as-air sheet is semi-transparent and only 0.21mm thin..."). Putting it on felt like having that second layer of skin. It adhered well to the skin, though there were times that I had to press down the sheet around the nose bridge area. But, thankfully, it smoothes out easily on the skin. The fit was also okay on the sides as well as for the holes for the eyes, nose, and mouth area. (also a bit of a confession that I'm still on the learning stage on how to apply sheet masks using the protective film as a guide since I still do mess putting the mask up quite 80% of the time 😅🙈 )
The scent was different this time as it resembled something a bit citrusy and slightly of honey (still more citrus). 🍊🍯 It was also mild overall which means that it wasn't really overpowering personally as I'm someone who gets a little sensitive to fragrances in some skincare products. It didn't linger at all, too. I didn't even get to smell much of it the whole time I was handling it until I purposely tried getting a closer whiff of it.
For the essence, it was different from the BHA variant this time since it contained a bit of white shade while the essence from the previous one was clear. It also had that much excess amount (as shown in the photo above) for the other parts that need that nourishing.
There were no problems or any negative reactions while donning this mask, so I think this one's just fine. Taking the mask off felt like peeling a layer of my skin since it stuck quite well while I was waiting for time to pass. I guess I just didn't know what to look at after using this since I didn't really notice much of a visible effect. My face did feel a bit plump after use and also glowy. Maybe it did get that moisture and nourishment in, but it was personally a vague one for me. Vague in a way that nothing was that memorable or that really worth noting after taking the sheet mask off. Anyway, one more good thing to end would be how I appeared less oily the next morning. Always gotta love waking up to a lesser oily face. 😄

Go-Buy or No-Buy?
I'm caught in between what to think about this sheet mask variant, but I might say that this mask's still a Go-Buy. Just might not be at the top of my list. There weren't any visible, spectacular or major after effects (if you could say that) and felt quite vague for me, but I mean, it does center on nourishing your skin which does need work quite after some time and also gives that better and healthier glow to the face. I'm even happy with the fact that it didn't break me out or give me an excessive oily look in the morning. I guess this would be one of those pick-me-up sheet masks that provide a boost to your tired and dull skin after a long day. 😊
